GRUPO HEVI CHOSE THE ALLWAVE FIBER FOR THE REDESIGN OF ITS NETWORK

Hevi is one of the bigger Mexican MSO, that provides with CATV channels, Internet
services and video on demand. It has its headquarters in the city of Guadalajara,
Jalisco and has branches in more than 25 cities, it has at present more than 120.000
subscribers.
In September 2002, Grupo Hevi planned the rebuilding of its network in the district of Zapopan, Guadalajara and advised by Tal Technologies, LLC, its supplier and distributor for OFS, chose the AllWave premium technology for fiber optics.
Specially designed for metropolitan areas, the advantage of the AllWave fiber is the elimination of the high attenuation, or water peak in the E Band ( 1400nm ). This turns into a 50% expand of the capacity of the optical network and the cost reduction that implies the use of the CWDM technology together with AllWave fiber.
With the aim of closing this business of 300 km of fiber optics with the manufacturer, the managers of Grupo Hevi and TalTechnologies travelled to the plant in Atlanta where the last details were arranged.

TELEMIC, the biggest MSO in Venezuela also trusts OFS fiber
After some comings and
goings it was finally closed the sell of fiber optic cable to the biggest
MSO in Venezuela, Corporacion Telemic ( former Intercable ). This transaction
was made throught the advise of Tal Technologies, LLC long lasting supplier
for Corporacion Telemic.
The sell was made throught and EX Im Bank credit who awarded the credit due
to the long trayectory and trust of the company.
The project of Corporacion Telemic is to build the netwotk in the capital city, Caracas, where the company was still out of the business.
TAL TECHNOLOGIES & PADTEC sign a Distribution Agreement for Latin America
The Brazilian company Padtec, first local company in the development and manufacture of optical systems of high capacity and Tal Technologies, supplier of CATV and telecom products have signed a Distribution Agreement for the sell of Padtec products for the CATV industry in Latin America.
This association together with OFS fiber optic cables make TalTechnologies a solution provider in the fiber optics and optoelectronic areas.
Padtec focuses in the manufacture of bidirectional WDM systems working in 1310 and 1550nm.
